JMC Backsaver N-2 Handle with Special Cleaner and JMC Zero Contamination Tube

Don't risk serious injury to your back, hands, or wrists. Pull undisturbed soil samples encased in removeable PETG Copolyester liners easily with our JMC Backsaver N-2 Handle. Your best option for fast "plow layer" (12 to 18 inches) sampling.

Simply step down on the footpedal to plant your sampling tube. Then, grab the hand grip (now near waist level) and use your legs to lift the sampler out of the ground. Clean your tube quickly by first removing the plastic liner containing your sample. Then unplug the end of the tube with the JMC Special Cleaner held in a leather pouch on your belt. Finally, insert a clean liner into the sampling tube and you are ready to go again.

  • Tube isolates sample from surrounding soil while being lifted out of the ground.
  • Vinyl caps seal sample inside liner during transit to your lab.
  • Samples measure 0.8 inches in diameter.
  • Tubes available in 12 or 18 inch lengths.
  • Foot pedal offers extra leverage for penetrating hard ground.
  • Strong, lightweight, nickel-plated steel tubing resists rust and wear.
