The ESP pulls a 3 (or 4) foot long by 0.8 inch diameter sample in one plunge. It captures every sample in a plastic (or stainless steel) liner and can sample to 3 (or 4) feet. Sampling tube is driven by a 12.5 pound drop-hammer (or electric hammer) and retrieved with a foot-operated jack.
